Mocha Beans

At Marco's Weirdomusic site. I don't know about you but I'm looking forward to Mocha Beans' in the moog. In truth it's easy to be let down by moog albums (hey, it's by no means my favourite synthesizer - in fact it's not in the top twenty I think) but you keep hoping. And anyway, lots of them use tape manipulation and all sorts of synths.

Moog was the first voltage controlled synth invented by the great Bob Moog. He was a real pioneer that never got his just reward - partially because he signed a confidentiality agreement with Raymond Scott (the guy who wrote the Merrie Melodies tunes) not to use some of his co-inventions. Those inventions were what drove him out of business.
He's great it's just that I prefer other synths for freeform noise (Arps, Buchlas and EMS) and I also love synthetic dance music, which Moogs were useless at, unlike those others you mentioned.
But old novelty synth albums are a weakness, and few have cheesecake covers like that one.
