I didn't realize you'd blogged one of my photos! and then I went and deleted it... which one was it?

Hi Emmaline, it wasn't important anyway! Thanks for getting in touch - I think the image was of someone eating a hot dog(?) in a city with cobblestones. I can't remember why I picked it. I was logging on to flickr for the first time and looking for a picture to link. I think it was that everyday events can make us question the nature of other people's lives and the nature of other more than exceptional events. I see you have links to 'found photos' so perhaps that doesn't sound stupid to you.

doesn't sound stupid at all! there's a very popular group on flickr called "A Day in the Life Of" where people all take photos on a certian day (the next one is June 21st) and post 5 to the group. Then everyone can take a look and see what fellow flickrites were doing on the same day, all around the world.

It might have been of someone eating a rolled-up pancake. We were having a Dutch-style picnic.

What a great idea, I'll be in Mexico on my honeymoon and I'll make sure to post my pictures from that day on the group.

It was someone eating a rolled-up pancake - well remembered.

well, i knew i'd never posted a photo of anyone eating a hot dog, so the pancake was the closest i could think of.

have fun on your honeymoon! i forgot to say until it was too late, but yesterday was World Photo Day. There's also a group on flickr. So if you took any photos yesterday, post them! If not, you can still check out hundreds of others from around the globe.

do you have a flickr account as well?
